A car shaking whilst driving could be due to wheels out of balance or faulty shock absorbers and it can be more noticeable at the higher speeds.
A rough check of the shock absorbers can be done by pressing down hard on one corner of the car and then let it go and then keep repeating this two or three times more in a row to set up a rocking motion in the car.
On the final push let it go and then check if it returns to the normal position with only a single bounce and then stops. If it continues to bounce by itself two or more times the shock absorber on the suspension there, may be faulty.
Do this on every corner of the car.
Another indicator of faulty shock absorbers could be uneven tyre wear
To check if the wheels are balanced, it is best to take the car to a tyre service and get them to check if they are or not.
