my macbook is having similiar problems... I go to hit the power button and it makes this noise like "cachink cachink cachink" ... Nothing comes up on the screen, just black.. any suggestions?

First. please start a new question and also tell us if the sound is like a clicking or like something hitting the spokes of a bicycle along with the last three figures of your serial number. Thanks

the weird sound that i heard before are from the fan (inside mac). when i press the button, it spin awhile and then stop. so, i repeat to press the power button again and it still like that.. what should i do ? at my place have no apple store. its hard to find.
