Any way to straighten this?

It looks like it's fixable; the repair will be similar to repairing a dent in a car. The idea is that you will need to pound the dent out from the back; that will straighten the frame without leaving marks on the outside where they'll be visible.

If it was mine, I'd start with removing the bezel (which you'll need to replace), then the LCD. Once those are out you can get to the inside of the lid where the dent is. Lay it down on its side on a non-marking surface like, say, a cutting board, and use a small flat headed hammer to gently and carefully pound the dent flat from the inside.

HP makes its repair guides available online, so if you get your model number from the bottom of the case you should be able to look up the service and maintenance manual for yours to get specific information on how to remove the bezel and locate the part number for it to get a replacement.

Unfortunately HP's guides don't go into enough detail to remove the LCD, as they stop at the complete display assembly, but at least one of them I looked at does show how to remove the bezel if need be.
