2 Back panel is delimanating on one side for no apparent reason
Yes, I've dropped the phone a couple of times for sure and it got hot from time to time, but nothing crazy like leaving it out in open sunlight.
The phone has not been opened, no screen replacement, no repair what so ever. Yet it delaminates :(
I tried to warm it up slightly and put a weight on the spot over night, with no success.
I really do not want to send it into ASUS repair center, nor do I really trust these phone repair shops very much.
It feels like I should be able to fix this myself, but also don't want to make things worse.

Are you sure it's not the battery inside that is swelling?

Yeah, pretty certain. I've had a swollen battery a few years ago and that felt different. The plastic cover can easily be pushed down into its supposed state without much resistance.
But maybe I'm wrong; how could I check if the battery is okay?
To prevent it from going further, I simply taped the sites and the back seems perfectly flat.
