Transmitter won't turn on sometimes

I'm having issues when trying to turn the transmitter on. Sometimes it turns on sometimes it doesn't and sometimes it turns off while I am using it. I am thinking it's the power switch but could it be something else? I've replaced the battery holder and checked the connection to the PCB.
