1 Right Joystick Doesn't Work
I got my new refurbished Steam Deck and I have a question: both joysticks do not work in both operating environments.
For example the left joystick only works in the SteamOS mode and NOT the right joystick but it works fine with selected games.
Similarly only the right joystick works in desktop mode. Is that supposed to be the case?
I have tried to get it resolved with Steam Support but they don't know either and I am trying to the bottom of this.

Hi!
Don't you still have warranty on it (when it's refurbished, you will not have the full warranty on it, but just for a few months, most of the time)?
I would return it and get yourself another one or get a refund.

This one was a replacement for an old one that had the same issue.

You mean like the console it self (the old one) had the same issue?

Yes, it was the same issue for the old one.
I will post on the Steam forum for an answer and maybe try to tinkering with it a bit.

Yes maybe for the best. Could be a software bug/glitch causing it. It's strange that 2 different consoles exactly are facing the same issue.
