While typing email or wordprocessing the letters do not follow the sentence. They may appear anywhere in the document causing me to go find where the cursor went, fix it and go back to where I was. Having similar issues on web pages where the computer has a mind of it's own because the cursor does what it wants. Pressure problems on either side of the trackpad from wrists?

I've experienced this myself. I've found that it's because while typing, my palm accidentally touches the trackpad and moves the curser to a different location. The only advice that I could offer is to start typing with your palms away from the trackpad. I've found that this helps out a lot.
