trackpad button insensitive one memory slot dead

My 13" laptop has a recurring problem with the trackpad button becoming insensitive to clicks (requires hard push to click). Apple serviced it once and the problem just came back. What to do? Also, one of the memory slots has lost function - does this require a motherboard replacement?

There's a bubble button under the trackpad with a setting type screw plate. That adjusts the pressure needed to click. If it's changing on you get some "threadlocker", to hold it in place. http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-27100-Hig...

Memory slots fail. You can try using canned air to blow it out. If it remains bad, put a 4 GIG stick in the working slot and you should be fine.
