Lower body replacement, not so easy

I believe the description says it all. I had little trouble removing the screws and the lower body to add Ram. The trouble came when trying to put the lower cover back on. There are three long screws that MUST go in the right holes. But before that, examine the machine as to just why the case is not fitting into place. Walk away from it for a while and come back with a clear head. Follow the guide: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Late 2011 RAM Replacement

Walking away REALLY helped. No seriously! Once I was able to step aside, I looked at my precision tools and realized that I was trying to use a flathead #00 instead of a phillips #00. All screws are secure and I'm loving the huge jump I made from 4GBs to 16GBs.

I need to step away from my work more often. :-)

You're dealing with a large investment item, doing something you would usually leave to a Pro. It can make you nervous. You now have gained confidence to do other repair and attempt more challenges.
