Check if the water is not stopping straightaway when the ice tray is full and is overflowing the ice tray during the fill function of the ice maker
I realize that you've replaced the ice filling system (assume you meant the ice maker) so perhaps there's wiring problem or a control board issue.
Here's the tech sheet for the refrigerator.
Enter the service diagnostic mode as described in the sheet and perform Test #45 - Ice maker water fill test and check if tests OK i.e. Off, On and Paused and that the water is turned off when Off or Paused is selected.
If it doesn't, then check if the ice maker switch wiring back to the board is OK. (see wiring diagram I think they go to the P7 plug pins 3&4 on the control board but you may want to double check)
