its a 65" tcl roku not sure what seri
es but i can find out. i broke the screen by throwing a battery. there is sound by pressing the remote and the screen is black. wonder if i need to change the backlight or the whole screen?

@candacesav59742 this will require a whole screen. Now, trouble will be to find one for a good price, if you can even find one. If you remove the back cover from your TV, you will find a label on the backside of the LCD panel. It will have the maker and the model for the LCD panel. Use that to do a search for a replacement. As sad as it may be, a new TV will most likely be cheaper that a replacement LCD panel. Consider selling the boards separately at places like craigslist or ebay etc. and use that money toward a new TV.
