missing standoff screw for iPhone4 verizon
I dropped one of my standoff screws on the verizon iphone 4 for the logic board, does the screw any purpose for the function of the phone?

The standoff sets the height of the wifi shield, if it is the one on the top right of the board near the vibrator. You would have wifi issues if the standoff is not there.

Other than holding components in place. If you have all the other screws, a standoff should not be a problem. Just re-assembly the device as if it was installed.
