Smelling fuel in the engine bay implies injectors operating unless a fuel leak occurred in fuel line or fuel rail. If injectors are operating during starting, the engine may be flooded and cannot startup if spark plugs drown spark. Removing spark plugs can verify wet or dry plugs from flooding. If wet and raw fuel emanates from cylinder heads, remove the fuel pump fuse. Check for any blown fuses, specifically ignition system. With plugs removed, crank the engine a few seconds to blow out remaining fuel. with dried plugs put back into the engine. try starting but do not pump the gas pedal (EFI systems with electronic pedal and throttle body know what fuel mixtures are needed). If you know how to check for spark, do so before putting plugs back into the engine. Presuming the ignition system will generate spark. the engine should startup.
Your owner's manual may have a flooded engine starting procedure to follow when a few starts fails to get the engine running, especially in winter cold.

Yes it kicks on. Also I smell the gas under the hood. I've replaced cam sensor and injectors
