Did you try resetting the fuse in the Plug? Sometimes that's all that's needed. Also try another outlet.
If that fails do you have access to compressed air or can'ed Air? Try blowing out the dust from the rear side and try to spin the motor as these blowers often have a second set of fins which you can see through the grill. The question is does the shaft spin at a all?
