Model
TE 70-ATC
Background
The Hilti TE 70 is a cordless combi-hammer drill designed for commercial construction workers. It can tunnel and chisel through tough materials like concrete, stone, and brick (Hilti). It can do this due to high rotation speed at 360 RPM. This power tool combines traditional drilling with modern technology. Hilti does this with its Active Vibration Reduction (AVR) system. The center of gravity is also close to the grip, allowing for a safe, balanced feel.
The Hilti company has been around since 1941 (Wikipedia) in Germany. It has spread to dozens of countries, including the U.S. and Japan. All of their home improvement and construction tools have been under the category "TE" since 1964. The combi-hammer was created in 2010, with the second generation released in 2014 (Hilti). The third and current generation came out in 2020.
Identification
The TE 70 is a combination of a chiseling drill and a hammer. It features a side handle for better grasping. It has a lithium-ion battery instead of a cord. This allows for more mobility. The body is a vibrant red, while the drill, handles, and battery cover are black. Its dimensions are 540L x 125W x 305H mm.
