Background Information
LulzBot Bio Printer is a bioprinter specifically designed for Freeform Reversible Embedding of Suspended Hydrogel, also abbreviated as FRESH, printing. The Bio Printer is capable of printing unmodified collagen, alginate, and other soft materials straight out of the box.
The printer is primarily marketed to bio researchers, with the intent of allowing workers in this field to recreate human physiology for researching in vitro testing, regenerative medicines, and other bioprinting applications, including creating multi-scale vasculatures to full-functional heart tissue.
