Background
The Monarch MK-V is a 100% electric, driver-optional, data-driven compact tractor from Monarch Tractor. Monarch announced the first Founder Series MK-V tractors on December 1, 2022, and says the tractor is designed for farm operations such as mowing, tilling, under-row weeding, feed pushing, and other implement work.
The MK-V uses a four-wheel-drive electric drivetrain with a push-button transmission, a Cat I/II three-point hitch, 540 rpm rear PTO, roof-mounted 360-degree cameras, a smart screen, and WingspanAI/MonarchOne software for autonomy and fleet data. Monarch lists the MK-V Standard and MK-V Dairy Push Blade as model configurations.
For repair and maintenance, Monarch publishes support articles covering charging, brakes, lubrication, radiator cleaning, washing, jacking, transport loading, controls, hydraulic service, and scheduled maintenance. Do not power wash the MK-V; Monarch says pressure washing can damage the computer components used for autonomy and data functions.
Identification
Identify the MK-V by the "MK-V" model name, Monarch Tractor branding, four-post rollover protection structure, roof-mounted camera pod, LED roof work lights, J1772 Type 1 charge port, smart screen, and rear Cat I/II three-point hitch. The MK-V Standard is listed with R1 agricultural tires; Monarch's product page also lists an MK-V Dairy Push Blade configuration with R4 industrial tires.
Look for the tractor serial number and regulatory labels on the physical machine before ordering parts or service materials. Public Monarch product and specification pages identify the model as MK-V, but do not list a separate consumer-facing model number.
