RazorX DLX Electric Skateboard Remote Not Pairing
Background
The RazorX Electric Skateboard DLX is an electric motorized skateboard, which features an 150-watt brushless DC hub motor, capable of propelling the skateboard up to 12 mph (19 km/h) and a lithium ion rechargeable battery, with a battery life of up to 40 minutes or 8 miles on a single charge. The deck of the skateboard is 34.25 inches long, with a maple wood finish and grip tape for rider stability. The skateboard comes with a handheld wireless remote, which is used to control the speed of the skateboard.
The retail price of this product was $215 USD. This product was the first retail electric skateboard sold by Razor. The subsequent model featured a new belt drive system for the motor, which makes it easier to replace parts on the board, such as the wheels and the bearings. There is an updated version of this device which was redesigned with a belt drive which alleviated the issue of wearing out the polyurethane wheels and not being able to replace the polyurethane on the motor.
Identification
The RazorX Electric Skateboard DLX is a long skateboard with the RazorX logo in white on the grip tape. The trucks and wheels are black. The motor can be found in the front right wheel. The battery and motor control unit are just behind the front trucks under the deck. The power button is red and can be found just under the deck and to the left of where the logo is. The Battery power display is next to the power button as well as the battery charging input.⏎
