Sony Cyber-shot WX Series Repair

Like with the Sony Cyber-shot W series, the WX series are an entry-level camera. However, unlike with the W series, the WX series cameras features a CMOS sensor. The first WX series Cyber-shot was also released in 2009 and was the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX1.

The model will usually be printed somewhere on the body, otherwise it can be located on the label on the bottom of the camera. The model name will contain the prefix "DSC" (standing for digital still camera). The model will then contain the letter 'WX' followed by the model number (for example, DSC-WX80).
