Giriş

When the screen no longer functions like it should, it is best to replace it altogether with a new one. This guide will aid you in removing the screen frame, inside screws, and LCD screen.

  1. Power down the Acer Chromebook and disconnect  the battery adapter.

  2. Use a spudger to pry the black screen frame off. It is recommended to start from the top corner.

  3. Use the spudger to open the two hinges that connect the screen frame to the bottom of the Chromebook. Move the spudger along the bottom of the screen frame until you can pull the frame out entirely.

  4. Use a #0 Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the four 3.35 mm screws. Use a #0 Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the four 3.35 mm screws.

  5. Place the LCD screen on top of keyboard. Lift the tape that  holds the back of the LCD screen to the connector, and unplug the connector. Remove the LCD screen and replace with the new one.
