Arturia MiniLab 3 Keyboard Cleaning

Giriş

This is a guide showing you how to disassemble and clean the Arturia MiniLab 3 keyboard keys. Due to negligence or accidental circumstance, it’s possible for one or more keys to get jammed which can prevent the user from creating sounds that they want. Following along this guide you will be able to fix your keys, bringing them back to use by yourself. You can also use this guide to replace the main PCB/motherboard in the Arturia MiniLab 3.

Before using this guide, make sure the issue you encountered is not caused by a broken USB cord by testing with other cords.

    • Remove the twelve 3 mm black Phillips #1 screws on the back of the keyboard using the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Remove the eight 1.5 mm black Phillips #000 screws on the back of the keyboard using the Phillips #000 screwdriver.

    • Insert an opening tool into the small openings between the back cover and chassis, and gently pry the top panel until it pops free.

    • Locate the ribbon cable on the green circuit board and detach it, pulling away from the socket while holding the ribbon.

    • Remove the three 1.5 mm Phillips #000 silver screws connecting to the green circuit board using the Phillips #000 screwdriver.

    • Remove the circuit board from the socket by detaching it from the chassis.

    • Pull the two gray silicone membranes off from the chassis gently.

    • Use isopropyl alcohol and cloth or cleaning wipes to clean the green circuit board and gray membranes.

    • Follow the steps in reverse to reassemble and secure the keyboard.
