Turn the device off by holding down the power button for up to 5 seconds and then tapping the "Power off" button on the screen.

Remove the rear cover using your hands at the lip on the device back cover. No tools required.

Remove the battery by lifting the lower edge of the battery up first.

Use a prying tool to separate the rear plate from the phone.

Firmly press the prying tool into the gap between the front glass and rear plate. This gap is located on all sides of the phone.

If the prying tool is not working try using your fingernails on the side of the phone. Once a small area of the rear plate is released continue to use the prying tool.

Run the prying tool around the entire phone separating the rear plate from the frame.

Locate the speaker and connected haptic motor (The circular object on the left) on the lower PCB board of the phone.

Using a prying tool lightly pry around all edges of the PCB Board until it releases from the adhesive backing.

Use the same process as above to remove the Haptic motor. It has the black and red wire connected to it and the PCB Board
