Giriş

If you would like to clean your camera or check the connections, this guide describes how to remove the battery casing on the camera.

    • To prevent shock, you will need to remove the battery before disassembly.

  1. Use a screwdriver to remove all four of the screws located on the right side of the camera (the same side as the speaker).
    • Use a screwdriver to remove all four of the screws located on the right side of the camera (the same side as the speaker).

  2. Unscrew and remove all four of the screws from the side of camera with the wristband attachment.
    • Unscrew and remove all four of the screws from the side of camera with the wristband attachment.

  3. Unscrew and remove all four of the screws on the bottom of the camera.
    • Unscrew and remove all four of the screws on the bottom of the camera.

    • Bottom screws are longer than the top screws, so label accordingly for easy reassembly.

  4. Once all screws have been removed, gently pry open the back casing of the camera. Use your tweezers to remove the ribbon from the LCD screen. Set the back of the camera casing aside.
    • Once all screws have been removed, gently pry open the back casing of the camera.

    • Use your tweezers to remove the ribbon from the LCD screen.

    • Set the back of the camera casing aside.

  5. Use your tweezers to hold the camera secure, while you pull the front cover off of the camera. This is the camera  without the front casing.
    • Use your tweezers to hold the camera secure, while you pull the front cover off of the camera.

    • This is the camera without the front casing.

  6. The bottom of the LCD screen is secured to the frame by small pieces of black tape. You will need to peel the tape away to release the LCD screen. Use your tweezers to lift the LCD screen from the frame.

    • Use your tweezers to lift the LCD screen from the frame.

  7. Use your tweezers to lift the LCD screen from the camera, then use your fingers to  move the LCD screen to the side as though you are turning a page in a book.     • Use your tweezers to lift the LCD screen from the camera, then use your fingers to move the LCD screen to the side as though you are turning a page in a book.

  8. Use your tweezers to lift the LCD frame from the camera.
    • Use your tweezers to lift the LCD frame from the camera.

  9. Use your tweezers to lift the bar holding the ribbon. Disconnect the ribbon to release . Use your fingers to pull the LCD screen with the attached ribbon from the camera.
    • Use your tweezers to lift the bar holding the ribbon.

    • Disconnect the ribbon to release .

    • Use your fingers to pull the LCD screen with the attached ribbon from the camera.

  10. Use your screwdriver to remove the two screws from the side of the camera that has the strap mount. Now that the screws are removed, you will be able to remove the strap mount.
    • Use your screwdriver to remove the two screws from the side of the camera that has the strap mount.

    • Now that the screws are removed, you will be able to remove the strap mount.

    • Slowly pull the side casing so that it becomes dislocated from the top of the camera frame.

  11. Hold the camera facing toward you. Using your finger, pull up the bar that is securing the ribbon that is located to the left of the flash. Disconnect the ribbon.
    • Hold the camera facing toward you. Using your finger, pull up the bar that is securing the ribbon that is located to the left of the flash.

    • Disconnect the ribbon.

  12. Pull the L-shaped frame away from the camera without disconnecting any of the wires. At the bottom of the camera, the L-shaped frame is being held in place by two studs and metal tabs. Pop the frame off of the studs and metal tabs.
    • Pull the L-shaped frame away from the camera without disconnecting any of the wires.

    • At the bottom of the camera, the L-shaped frame is being held in place by two studs and metal tabs.

    • Pop the frame off of the studs and metal tabs.

    • There is a yellow wire and an orange wire soldered to the camera. Do not disconnect them.

  13. On the logic board, left of the lens, is a bar securing a ribbon. Flip the bar up to release the ribbon. Disconnect the ribbon.

    • Disconnect the ribbon.

  14. Use your screwdriver to remove the two screws connecting the frame to the back of the camera. Remove the frame on the back side of the camera where the LCD screen was.
    • Use your screwdriver to remove the two screws connecting the frame to the back of the camera.

    • Remove the frame on the back side of the camera where the LCD screen was.

    • Slowly pry the frame off from the camera.

  15. Now you have the battery casing isolated. Now you have the battery casing isolated.
    • Now you have the battery casing isolated.

Sonuç

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
