The port of the USB outlet on the keyboard can accumulate dust and dirt which can cause the connection between the keyboard and computer to fail. This guide will show how to replace the USB jack on the keyboard’s cord.

Remove the two 10 mm length screws using the Phillips head #1 which are located underneath the kickstand of the keyboard and directly next to it.

Remove the sixteen 5 mm length screws using the Phillips head #2.

One of the screws may be located underneath a manufacturer's sticker.

Remove the metal backing located directly underneath the white plastic casing.

Disconnect the ribbon cable that connects the LED board to the motherboard.

Carefully remove the LED board, which should now come free from the casing.

Remove the motherboard and its attached cable from the plastic casing. The cord should now be free and can be replaced.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
