Replacing the ram is the easiest replacment on the Dell XPS, there are no screws to remove if you don't count the back panel. The only thing holding the RAM in place are two clips, and after unclipped the RAM slides right out.

Find and remove the two .3cm torx head screws using a T5 screwdriver.

Find and remove the six Phillips head .3cm screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
