    • Turn the device on its screen.

    • Gently lift the back cover off the device. The back cover should come off easily.

    • Use the opening tool's angled edge to lift the clasps securing the screen and motherboard cables.

    It’s not necessary to remove the cables. Unclip the white touch cable from the touch board as shown in step 8, then remove the two screws holding the board to the frame, as shown in step 9. The board can then be moved out of the way to lay flat on your work surface without having to disconnect all the cables. Doing this eliminates this step and step 5. The order of operations then would be steps 1-3, 8, 9, 6, 7, and 10.

    • Disconnect the screen and copper colored motherboard cables and tuck them under the device to prevent future hassle.

    • Remove the two black 3mm screws from the internal cover with a Phillips 00 screwdriver.

    • Remove the internal cover.

    • Disconnect the black camera cable and pull it back to prevent future hassle.

    • Use the angled edge of the plastic opening tool to lift the clasp securing the touch control board cable.

    • Disconnect the silver and blue touch control board cable.

    This little snap can be tough to lift up. If you get your face right down on the board you can see that it pops upward from the side. Pic looks like it might be from the top.

    I was able to pull this free with my fingernails. Using the tool was too clumsy for such a small piece.

    • The CMOS battery is adhered with strong adhesive; you may need to use extra force when removing.

    it seems obvious, but after you lift out the battery you're looking a plain white plastic case. That's fine - you can go back through the steps omitting the ones of putting the battery and CMOS battery cables back in place. Basically, just reattach anything that's still there.

My unit is missing the right foot stand. Is there anywhere else I can find the model number. Need to purchase a new power supply?

Also might need to replace the touchscreen its cracked. Have to power her up first to find out. Do you have a video for touchscreen replacement?
