Dell XPS 18 Left and Right Speakers Replacement

This guide will show you how to properly remove and replace the left or right speaker of your Dell XPS 18.

What you need

  1. Dell XPS 18 Left and Right Speakers Replacement, Back Cover: adım 1, 1 resimden 1.

    • Turn the device on its screen.

    • Remove the ten 4mm screws using a T8 Torx screwdriver.

    • Gently lift the back cover off the device. The back cover should come off easily.

    • Use the plastic opening tool's angled edge to lift the clasp securing the copper colored volume control cable.

    • Disconnect the volume control cable and pull it back.

    • Firmly pull the blue speaker cable loose.

    • Remove the two black 4mm screws with a Phillips 00 screwdriver.

    • Carefully remove the speaker.

    • To remove the right speaker, follow these same steps.
