Dremel 8220 Collet Replacement

This guide will show you how to replace a defective collet. By following a few simple steps, your collet can be replaced in approximately 5 minutes. No experience is required and only one tool is needed.

    • Press and hold down on the gear lock button to lock the shaft.

    • With the lock held down, begin unscrewing the collar wrench.

    • Remove the collet nut, and poke out the collet.

    • If the collet is jammed in the collet nut, more force will need to be applied.
