Use the T-4 screwdriver to unscrew the 9 mm screws on the back of the device.

Look for a small button on the motherboard at the top of the device, and insert replacement power button on top of the small button on the motherboard until you hear a click.
Great question, I have same problem. Lots of advice on how to replace it but no-0ne can tell me where to get a replacement power switch. Just wondering if you've had any luck.....CHEERS

Does not help me a bit. My button fell off and I did not see it come off, so it is lost. Cannot fix it without info of where to get a replacement!
I’m looking for same switch part for nuvi 40lm. Unless we purchase a whole
Unit from EBay that doesn’t work just for the switch. Good luck if you find one.
