Hamilton G5 Inspiratory Valve Replacement

Remove 4 Hex Allen screws (A) from the Rail surrounding the Ventilation Unit.

Remove the Rail (B).

The Standoff Brackets (C) remain with the Main Cover.

Lift the Main Cover (A) from the Ventilation Unit using the Standoff Brackets (B) attached to the Main Cover.

Remove Safety Valve Block

1. Disconnect the cable from the Ambient Valve Solenoid

2. Disconnect the Shaped Hose (A)

3. Remove the 2 Hex Allen Screws (B)

4. Remove the Safety Valve Block

To remove Ambient Valve Solenoid: Unscrew the Ambient Valve Solenoid (C) form the Safety Valve Block

Removing the Inspiration Valve

1. Disconnect the tubing and cables form the Inspiration Valve

2. Disconnect the Shaped Hose (A)

3. Remove 2 Hex Allen screws (B) M5x60

4. Move the Inspiration Valve forward and then up

5. Remove the Inspiration Valve
