These necessary steps are easy repairs that will not only make your car look better but last longer. In order to remove scratches from a cars interior, you can either buy a specialized kit containing everything you need or use a combination of sanding, painting and heating to remove it by hand.

  The plastic is ready for molding when it loses its texture and becomes slightly glossy.

  Apply the grain pad to the intended area using light pressure.
  
  This should smooth out the scratch and will give a textured finish that will blend in with the rest of the panel.
  
  Make sure you use a grain pad that closely resembles the trim of your car.

  Let the area cool and harden.
