It's only when you want to enjoy the most of summer, that you realize the underwire of your bikini is coming out of its tunnel. Don't worry, with a simple needle and thread you can repair the defect and continue to enjoy the beach!

Identify the defective underwire

Push it back into the hem tunnel by hand

Prepare the needle and the thread.

Starting on one side of the hem tunnel, stitch all along the tunnel opening to close the hole.

Repeat the process 1-2 times to make the repair extra durable.

Finish the stitching with a knot. Cut the thread.

The tunnel is closed, and the underwire will stay inside.

Test the repair by pushing and stretching the item gently, to see whether the underwire is straining the repair. If needed, repeat step 2.
