Giriş
Kinderglo night lights are loved by kids but don't stand up to drops and bumps. They are now discontinued so if you want them to keep working you will have to DIY the repair.

This product has a light module glued into a rubberized semi opaque toy. The module is set into an inset cup. Remove it by prying towards the center and under the lip of the module. Stay shallow and don’t go straight down. I had to use an x-acto knife to get it free.

The bottom comes off then the sides snap apart reviling two PCBs connected with 5 wires and a battery soldered on to each board. There are two springs in the base that connect the charging plate and the button. The button will probably fall out. Also the enclosure can come apart while still in the toy when dropped; I glued it when I reassembled it.

Really glad this guide was here! We have one of these that we got for our toddler in 2013. She’s 9 now and still loves it. I think the pressure of the springs causes the light assembly to slide apart. A few months ago, the button to turn the unit on came loose and was rattling around the unit. We used a popsicle stick to turn the light on for the last few months, but then the light assembly came completely off the plastic ring at the base of the toy, and was loose inside of it, and there was no way to push the on button anymore. I used a small nail file tool from a mini swiss army knife to pry the light assembly out. I had to loosen it from the body of the toy by going all the way around the circumference of the light assembly to loosen it enough. When you are doing this, go in and down, not just down, because there is a small step in the body of the toy. This is a simple disassembly guide, but it was enough to allow me to successful fix my kiddos favorite (and only) night light.
