    • Five 7 mm screws

    • Six 4 mm screws

    • Carefully pry the back cover off the computer using an opening pick.

    • Start at the corner of the laptop and work your way around the side. Gently pull up on the cover until it detaches.

    • Use the plastic opening tool to unlatch the metal cover that secures the RAM housing.

    • Ensure that the opening tool is only hooked on the metal housing.

    • Push the metal tabs inwards to release the RAM.

    • After the clips are removed, the RAM will push up at an angle.

    • Remove the RAM from the device.
