Lenovo ThinkPad T490 Speaker Replacement

The speaker is an essential part of any computer, especially if you use it for musical purposes.     • Using a Philips #1 screwdriver, fully loosen the six screws on the back cover.

    • The speaker is located in the top middle.

    • The battery is located at the bottom.

    • Gently pull the pull tab in order to disconnect the battery from its socket.

    • Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the three 5 mm screws from the centralized speaker.
