Turn phone so the back panel is facing up. Then locate the latch at the top of the back panel (above the Verizon logo).

Turn the phone over so that the battery text is facing right side up. With a spudger, lift from the bottom of the battery until it disconnects.

With a new battery, put into the battery slot top end first, then push down with your finger to secure the battery.

To reassemble your device, follow the previous instructions in the reverse order.
