Tablet was dropped, failed to power on.Plugged in but screen just flashed.Removed back.Connection for the battery was not seated & battery was at a slight angle.Drop caused plug & battery to unseat.Reseated and put back cover on and it powered up.Easy fix

Note battery compartment slightly larger than battery. 1/8" reveal on left side if off after top of battery shifted.

I just did this after dropping my Nexus 7 and experiencing the screen flicker.
Take the back cover off as described here
Ensure the battery plug is connected well. Straighten the battery back up. Worked perfectly.
just tried this, couldn`t find the right tool so used a 1mm guitar pick and credit card. worked perfectly and now my Nexus is working again. thanks.
