Adım 1 Touch Screen

Samsung Galaxy Prevail Touch Screen Replacement, Touch Screen: adım 1, 1 resimden 1.

Using your hands, carefully remove the back panel by popping the open slit, near the headphone jack, outwards.

Using your fingernail or nylon spudger, remove the battery by lifting upward in the recess of the bottom right corner.

Remove the (6) 4mm screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Using the black spudger, carefully unhinge and pry the secondary rear panel , which houses the camera lens and speaker.
The metal trim of the headphone jack may come loose during this process.

Using the spudger, gently pry upward on the motherboard by the right side.
Motherboard is connected to shield plate with ribbon cable.

Using a spudger, carefully unhinge the gray shield plate by lifting upwards on the right side.
The shield plate will not be fully removed, it is attached to the front panel with a ribbon cable.

Adım 7

Samsung Galaxy Prevail Touch Screen Replacement: adım 7, 1 resimden 1.

Using the spudger lift up the LCD screen and replace with the new screen.

Sonuç

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
