Sony Handycam CCD-TR5 Tape Transport Unit Replacement

In order to keep your device in working order, the tape transport unit may need to be replaced.

  1. Sony Handycam CCD-TR5 Tape Transport Unit Replacement, Tape Transport Unit: adım 1, 1 resimden 1.

    • Remove the eight Phillips #00 screws. There are six screws on the bottom of the camera and two screws beneath the back light button.

    • Remove the five Phillips #00 cassette side screws.

    • Remove the three Phillips #00 screws located on the top of the lens side cover.

    • Remove the Phillips #00 screw holding the microphone on.

    • Remove the two Phillips #00 screws from lens side cover.

    • Slide the lens side cover away from camera.

    • Remove the Phillips #00 screw from the tape transport slider.

    • Remove the four Phillips #00 screws located on the top of the camera.

  10. Sony Handycam CCD-TR5 Tape Transport Unit Replacement: adım 9, 1 resimden 1.

    • Remove the electrical connector from camera.

  11. Sony Handycam CCD-TR5 Tape Transport Unit Replacement: adım 10, 1 resimden 1.

    • The tape transport unit is now free from the camera.
