Using the Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove two 5 mm and one 3 mm screws from the battery assembly.

Remove the two 5 mm screws from the top left and bottom of the camera.
Remove the 3 mm screw from the middle of the joint attaching the LCD screen to the device.

Remove the two 5 mm screws from the panel to the right of the joint and LCD screen.

Use the plastic opening tool to remove the cover for the recording buttons.

Remove the five 5 mm screws from the bottom panel.
Remove the bottom panel covering the internal motherboard.

Remove one 5 mm screw by the lens and two 5 mm screws under the handle.
Remove the leather strap assembly/handle completely from the device.

Remove one 5 mm to the left of the "start, stop, record" button.
Remove the entire right side panel where the handle is located.

Use a spudger to remove the LCD joint cover.

Remove three black 5 mm screws and one silver 4 mm screw on the front right of the camera, where the orange motherboard is.
The silver screw is located on the front right of the camera and is attached to the main panel of the camera.

Remove the 5 mm screw from the top left near the lens of the camera.

Using tweezers, carefully detach the two wires connected to the bottom motherboard portion of the camera.
One white & black wire and one flat yellow wire are connected to the lens panel.
Remove the lens panel.

Remove the three 5 mm screws.
One is on the bottom of the lens area, and the other two are on the top left and right of the lens area.
Carefully remove the camera lens with your hands or spudger.
There are three springs located underneath the lens. Make sure not to lose them.

Remove one 5 screw near the top, back left section near the zoom and picture control capturing button.
There are two flat blue wires keeping the buttons connected to the main assembly. Carefully set aside or unplug them.
This partially removes the zoom and picture capturing control.

Near the tripod mount, remove one silver 5 mm screw.
Remove the tripod mount with the mount assembly underneath.

Remove one silver 5 mm screw from the front right side of the camera where the orange motherboard card is.
Unplug the wire.
Remove the silver 5 mm screw underneath the wire.

Using tweezers, release the clip attaching the main internal system to the main frame. This allows the rest of the camera to be freely taken apart.
The side panel will have cords running through the frame; unplug these and the frame will be removable.
