Sony Xperia U Headphone Jack Replacement

If your phone's earphone jack is not working properly, follow these steps to assist you in replacing the headphone jack.

What you need

  1. Sony Xperia U Headphone Jack Replacement, Battery: adım 1, 1 resimden 1.

    • Set the phone screen down on a clean flat, surface.

    • Insert the plastic opening tool into the groove located between the body of the phone, and the back plate protecting the battery.

    • Open the back of the device by prying around the sides of the back panel using the plastic opening tool.

    • Pry up on the side of battery, and remove it.

    • Pop the plastic cover off. To do this, gently push forward on the plastic opening tool while it is in between the cover and the phone.

    • Remove the six size 0 Phillips screws.

    • Lift the black back cover off of the body with the plastic tool.

    • Locate the earphone jack on the top left of the black plastic back cover.

    • Use the tweezers to pinch the earphone jack and remove it from the back cover.
