Sony Xperia U Speaker Replacement

If your phone's speaker is not working properly and needs replacement, follow the steps provided in this guide to guide you through the replacement process.

    • Pop the plastic cover off. To do this, gently push forward on the plastic opening tool while it is in between the cover and the phone.

    • Remove the six size 0 Phillips screws.

    • Insert the plastic opening tool in between the body of the phone and the thin plastic back cover.

    • Lift the black back cover off of the body with the plastic tool.

    • Locate the earphone jack on the top left of the black plastic back cover.

    • Use the tweezers to pinch the earphone jack and remove it from the back cover.

    • Using the tweezers, remove the loudspeaker module by firmly grasping it on one side, then slowly and carefully pulling the module in an upward direction.
