Trek 4300 Bicycle Front Wheel Replacement

Removing the front wheel is very similar for most bikes, this guide specifically relates with the Trek 4300. With this bike, you will not have to completely remove the pin to take off the wheel, just loosening it will work.

    • Stand facing your bike and locate the brake calipers.

    • To lessen the tension on the brake wire, place one hand on each caliper and push them closer together.

    • Note which side of the bike the quick release lever is on for proper reassembly.
