-[* black] Turn off the phone using the "Power Button", which is a button with a circle on it, located on the left side of the phone.
-[* black] To remove the back panel of the phone, slide your fingernail along the edge of the device and pull at the panel as shown in the figure. While pulling at it along the edge, you will hear a snap which tells you that the panel is coming off the phone.
