[title] Display Assembly
-[* icon_reminder] The adhesive that holds the display assembly in it's place is really strong. It is manageable to loosen it with an iOpener but during the removal procedure you'll need to reheat it several times. However if you have a heat gun at hand it will do the job as well.
-[* icon_note] The following steps involve using an iOpener to soften the adhesive holding the front panel assembly in place. When using the iOpener, be sure to heat it in the microwave for no more than 30 seconds.
-[* black] [guide|25705|Use an iOpener|new_window=true] to loosen the adhesive beneath the display assembly on all sides of the iPad.
- [* icon_note] Since you're starting to cut the adhesive next to the home button, let the iOpener sit at least for two minutes on the bottom end of the display. If the adhesive reseals during the removal procedure, reheat the iOpener and apply it again.
+[* icon_note] Strong adhesive holds the screen in place. In order to separate it, you'll first need to heat and soften the adhesive using an iOpener, hair dryer, or heat gun.
+ [* black] You may need to reapply heat repeatedly throughout this process to prevent the adhesive from cooling and hardening.
