[* black] Remove the battery, then remove two rubber bungs which are then visible in the battery compartment, their surfaces flush with the battery compartment roof.
[* black] using two notches to gain purchase, slide the inter-key sheet upwards, revealing 6 small screws. Remove these screws.
[* black] Now carefully lift the top of the keyboard and angle it towards you, revealing its two ribbon cables.
[* black] Gently lift the locking tabs on the ribbon cables and withdraw the ribbons. You can now remove the keyboard.
+[* icon_note] On different laptops there are several methods of removing the keyboard. In some, you only need to release tabs along the top. Others are retained by screws under a bezel between the keyboard and the screen or accessed from the underside of the laptop.
