[title] Disconnecting the motor control board
[* black] Each of the 4 motors has 3 wires soldered to the motor control board. Check that they are the same colours and arranged the same as in the photo. If not, take your own photo. Were you to accidentally reverse any two in reconnecting, the corresponding motor would spin backwards, causing an instant crash on take-off.
[* black] Onsolder all 12 wires (or only the 6 on one side if you are simply replacong an arm).
[* red] Lift off the connector at the top of the motor control board.
-[* icon_note] On reassembly, double, no, triple check that this connector is fully engaged and pressed home (force is not required). If not, you may find only 2 motors spin, or the drone apears compleately dead. Take care not to disturb it on refitting the bug filter just above it.
+[* icon_note] On reassembly, double check that this connector is fully engaged and pressed home (force is not required). If not fully engaged, you may find only 2 motors spin, or the drone appears completely dead. At the ed of a couple of hours of intensive work on your precious drone, this can cause an unpleasant sinking feeling in the pit of the stomach.
