[title] Lift the fingerprint reader PCB
-[* black] Use the flat end of a spudger to pry up and separate the adhesive holding the black fingerprint reader cable PCB to the I/O board.
-[* icon_caution] Do not pull on the cable or pry on the connector itself, only underneath the black PCB that the connector is on.
-[* icon_reminder] You may need to replace the adhesive holding this PCB to the I/O board if your replacement part does not include it. Tesa 61395 tape would work well for this.
+[* black] Slide the flat end of a spudger under the PCB on the fingerprint reader cable and pry up to separate the adhesive securing it.
+ [* icon_note] If you're having a hard time separating the adhesive, [guide|25705|use an iOpener|new_window=true] or [guide|157348|hair dryer|new_window=true] to lightly heat the PCB.
+[* icon_caution] Don't pull on the cable or pry on the connector itself—only insert your tool under the board.
+[* icon_reminder] During reassembly, if the adhesive is still sticky you can reuse it. Otherwise, replace it with a strip of [product|IF317-072-6|thin, double-sided tape|new_window=true].
