+[* icon_caution] Measure the output voltage of your power supply with a voltmeter or multimeter on the Volts DC setting
+[* black] To take the measurement, first insert the positive probe into the middle of the connector that goes to the printer while at the same time touching the outside metal jacket on the connector.
+[* icon_caution] Make sure to make good contacts but not to short the two leads out by touching them together
+[* black] The multimeter should read anywhere between 18.5-20 Volts DC. If you get a value significantly less than that, or a value that fluctuates without reason, the power supply is broken and needs to simply be replaced.
+[* black] If you read correct voltage but your printer is still malfunctioning, continue with the guide, otherwise buy a new power adapter from your distributor.
