	[* black] To reach the oil filter, guide your hand around the back side of the drive axle and up toward the top of the engine.
	[* icon_caution] Be careful if the engine has been running recently. The engine and exhaust components may be very hot.
	[* black] Twist the oil filter counter-clockwise with your hand until it comes off the threads on the engine block.
-	[* icon_note] If the filter is too tight to loosen by hand, use an oil filter wrench. A wrench that fits over the top of the oil filter is necessary as there is very little space on the sides of the oil filter.

	[* black] Lower the oil filter out of the engine bay with the threads facing up, then place it in the oil drain pan with the threads facing down.
